A.J. Ronan DO
Educational Background
Dr. Ronan is a Michigan native who hails from the Orchard Lake - Farmington Hills area of west Detroit. He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Michigan State University and received his medical training at Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery In Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from the Family Medicine residency program at Ingham Regional Medical Center in August 2000. While training in Lansing, Dr. Ronan was Chief-Resident of Family Medicine and also a clinical teaching faculty member at Michigan State University - College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ronan has interests in sports medicine as well as Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine for the treatment of neck and back pain. He has had the opportunity to train under David Boesler, D.O., Raymond Ruby, D.O., Gerald Cooper, D.O., Y. Jay Sandweiss, D. O., and many other esteemed osteopathic physicians during his career. Julie Thomas-Beckett NP Educational Background
Julie has been a Family Nurse Practioner since 1991. She enjoys working with individuals and families throughout the lifecycle including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. She brings a unique blend of medicine and nursing to her role, utilizing a holistic perspective for the care of the patient. She believes in educating the patient to enable them to make the best decisions on their quest for health. Julie has a special interest in women's health. She counsels women through the menopausal transition using many treatment options, including bio-identical hormones and herbal therapies. She is available for consultation appointments and primary care appointments. Julie lives in East Lansing with her husband and their two children. She enjoys gardening, exercising, softball, creative writing, and reading. Jenny Werth Educational Background
In addition to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Lake Lansing Family Practice, Jenny is also a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department at Sparrow Hospital and occasionally teaches nursing at Lansing Community College. Jenny enjoys working with people of all ages, and has a particular interest in Diabetes Management and caring for the elderly, with a focus on chronic illness, health promotion and disease prevention. Jenny also serves as a Disaster Medical Assistance Team member, since 2009, as a per diem employee of the Federal Government. The MI-1 DMAT team is called upon by the federal government to provide medical support to communities around the country and abroad during times of natural disaster or catastrophes. Jenny lives in DeWitt with her husband, 4 children and 2 golden doodles. She enjoys traveling, quilting, photography and reading. |
